As this project progresses there will need to be a comprehensive study done to understand the environmental impacts of the project. Some issues we know will need to be addressed are:
- Possible endangered species habitat encroachment
- Identification and preservation of any native artifacts uncovered
- Water runoff and erosion management
- Impact on the river
- Protection of heritage trees
